POST: Tier-2 professor and vice president

Li Jing (1973-), male, PhD, tier-2 professor, researcher, and doctoral supervisor,currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and vice president of Chongqing Technology and Business University. He also serves as the executive vice director of Research Center for Economy of Upper Reaches of the Yangtse River Chongqing Technology and Business University, a key research base for humanities and social sciences under the Ministry of Education. He is also the director of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, a regional and country research center under the Ministry of Education, the president of the Chongqing Capital and Market Economy Research Association, an editorial board member of "Journal of Management World", and an anonymous review expert of "Economic Research Journal".

Pro. Li Jing enjoys special allowances from the State Council, and serves as a member of the Economic Education Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the 5th Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a recipient of the May 1 Labor Medal in Chongqing, and an academic leader in applied economics in Chongqing. He has been selected into multiple talent projects, such as a leading talent in philosophy and social sciences under the national "Ten Thousand Talents Programme", a national cultural expert and a theoretical talent in the "Four Batches" of the Publicity Department of CPC, a national candidate for the “Hundreds, Thousands, and Ten Thousands Project”, one member of young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions to the country, a leading expert in the Chongqing Chief Expert Studio, and a leading talent in philosophy and social sciences in Chongqing.

Pro. Li Jing mainly conducts research in areas such as regional economics and international economics. He has published over 100 papers in prestigious international and Chinese journals such as Economic Research Journal, Journal of Management World, and China Economic Review. He has also authored 15 monographs published by national-level publishers. Li has led (or served as the chief expert) on 2 major national level projects, 2 key national projects, 2 general national projects, and 25 major and general projects at the provincial and ministerial levels. He has received 2 second prizes of the Excellent Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences from the Ministry of Education, 6 first prizes at the provincial and ministerial levels, 6 second prizes, and 3 third prizes. 15 of his achievements have received positive instructions from central and provincial/ministerial leaders, and he has been awarded the Chongqing Development Research Award 6 times.
